Arrive Mumbai (Gateway of India)

Today, assemble at the renowned Gateway of India in the wee hours of the morning to catch the ferry to Mandawa Jetty. You get to sail on the fresh and misty Arabian Sea for about 1.5 hours before reaching the hub. From here, get ready to pedal up! A 28 km stretch awaits you till you reach Alibaug, the capital of Raigad. Fill your stomachs with piping hot lunch and cycle onwards to Kashid. Today will be a comparatively easier ride along a scenic route filled with fresh green hillocks, paddy fields and charming countryside

Kashid - Harihareshwar

Get some wind in your helmets! On Day 2, you will be riding along the Konkan coastline, with a fresh breeze blowing against you, to Harihareshwar. Have a sumptuous breakfast, and then cycle along until you reach the inimitable Murud via Nandgaon. Be prepared for high humidity levels along the coast, though the breeze should help you cool off. Rest a bit, start cycling again to Agardanda, go past Rajapuri and then take a ferry to cross the creek to Dighi. From Dighi, again, you cycle down to the temple town of Harihareshwar and spend the night there.

Day 3

Harihareshwar - Dapoli

Harihareshwar is a beautiful little town located in the heart of the Raigad district and surrounded by three distinct hills. It is called temple town due to several sacred installations that are said to have been blessed by the Gods. We leave the blessed town and take a ferry starting from Bagmandala to Vesavi. Once here, the cycling resumes as we pedal our way into Harnai, the fishing port town. An ancient port off the west coast, the pier sees several fishers' boats come by in the evening after accomplishing their day's catch. From Harnai we cycle into Dapoli.

Dapoli - Velneshwar

Dapoli, or 'Camp Dapoli,' will be a short stay. Almost immediately, it will be time to board a ferry from Dapoli port to get to Veldur. From here, quickly pedal up to Guhagar, where you can enjoy the midday lunch. After that, cycle down to Velneshwar near Hedavi, which will be the day's destination. A scenic beach town, Velneshwar is famous for its rock-free, swimming-friendly beach.
