MOTOR BIKING TRIP

Enjoy this thrilling and adventure road trip to Ladakh from Manali via Lahaul Valley on the twisty roads. This breath-taking ride will take you from Solang valley, Gata Loops, Manali, Pang, Magnetic hill, Meeting of Indus, and Zanskar river. Supreme scenic views, unspoiled icy lakes, and cracked roads. Once in lifetime ride for every biker which offers you a stay amidst the beautiful valley of mountains and a starlit sky in the night. Visit the old monasteries and temples and experience the divinity and bask in the spiritual energy of the environment. We must let you know, however, that this ride is not for the weak-hearted

Day 1

Arrive Manali

Having arrived at Manali in the morning, you just relax for the day after checking into the hotel and allow your body to adjust to the environment. Thereafter, it is time for some local sightseeing. An experienced tour guide will meet you to provide you with the itinerary, allocate bikes, provide routes, etc. The evening is at your disposal. Enjoy the overnight stay along with a delectable dinner.

140 kms: Manali to Jispa

On day 2, it's time to pack your bags because a long and thrilling motorbike ride to Ladakh awaits you. You will ride via the Atal Tunnel, Tandi, and Keylong from where you will arrive at Jipsa. Enjoy an adventurous overnight stay here.

140 Kms: Jispa to Padum via ShangoLa Pass

After a good breakfast, get ready for a ride towards the newly opened road that will take you to Zanskar. The landscape is beautiful as you take your time to get across Shingo La pass. Take a dream snapshot of the picturesque grand mountain Gumbo Ranjan or Mahakal and the river. We will take a one-side hike to look for a hidden monastery via a track that stops at Phutkal Gompa. A nice afternoon meal at the campsite and then we head over to Padum – a 50 km ride. Check out the beautiful Alpine tents, in which you get to stay overnight.

240 kms: Padum to Kargil

Day 4 will seem like a real ride adventure as you traverse 240 km. A recently opened route, the road is built to fit 4 x 4 vehicles. It connects to the Leh – Srinagar highway with a short-cut diversion. All 240 km will be covered during the day. There are several hotels where we get to stay the night.

Day 5

220 km: 4 to 5 hours: Kargil to Leh

On day 5 the trip will take us to Leh Ladakh and on the way, we go over two high-elevation mountain passes. You will first pass via Mulbek upon leaving Kargil. A giant Buddha Sculpture on a rock mountain is a sight to see. Get another eye full of Lamayuru, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. Thereafter, enjoy the majestic Magnetic Hills and their phenomenon. You will also get to visit the wonderful Gurudwara Pather Sahib to touch your spiritual side. An overnight stay awaits you after this exhausting day back at the hotel.

160 km: 2 to 3 hours: Leh to Nubra Valley

On day 6, the biking group will take the Srinagar to Manali stretch to enjoy a scenic yet thrilling journey to Nubra Valley. This is Khardung La, considered the highest motorable road on earth. From Nubra Valley and the banks of the Nubra River, we get to the hotel for an overnight relaxing stay.

Day 7

150 km: 3 to 4 hours: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Driving on day 7 leaving behind the stark regions, we pass through Shyok Village and come to the pristine Pangong lake. The shores of the lake are rather enchanting – take in the beauty and tranquility of the water – you will have enough time to capture some memorable pictures. We head back to the campsite by dusk and sit around a wonderful bonfire especially lit for you. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay amidst the vegetation.

160 km: 5 to 6 hours: Pangong to Leh

Wake up in the morning to the scenic view of Pangong Tso and have an appetizing breakfast. Thereafter, we leave for Leh via the second highest pass in the world, the Chang La, which is at 17,590 ft. A tough drive, it connects us to the Changthang Plateau through the small Tsoltak Lake. Thereafter, we descend down to Shakti and continue over to Manali-Leh highway. We should reach our destination by early evening. Have a great overnight stay here whilst also enjoying a tour of the city.

Day 9

250 km: 9 to 10 hours: Leh to Sarchu

Enjoy a hearty morning meal and get ready for a great long ride to Sarchu. Cruising through the borders of Jammu, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh allows the panorama of the mighty mountains and the bright colors of nature sink into you. Tanglang La is at 17, 480 ft and considered the third highest pass, and then there’s the Morey Plains, a plateau situated at a height of more than 15,500 ft across a stretch of flat road spanning 45 km. Finally, we reach the Gata Loops or hairpin bends – 21 of them in all – as we ride through the twin passes of Lachung La at 16,616 ft and Nakee La, at 15,547 ft. We should be at Sarchu by evening.

223 km: 11 to 12 hours: Sarchu to Manali

Our final destination is Jispa riding over from Sarchu to Manali. Ride through the snow at Baralacha Pass and Zing-Zing Bar while crossing over Baralacha La at 16,050 ft. We will pass through the iconic Atal Tunnel and the scenic villages dotted in the Lahaul Valley. You get to stay overnight at a pre-booked hotel once we reach Manali.

Departure from Manali

A sumptuous breakfast awaits you at the hotel – thereafter, you still have time to explore the city all by yourself.
