Day 1

Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 km / 03 hrs.)

One of our representatives will meet you upon arrival at the Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and take you by car to Shillong (4,900 ft.), widely known as "Scotland of the East." Have a look at the man - made Umiam Lake along the way.

It is just 15 kilometres north of Shillong on the Shillong-Guwahati highway. A magnificent, serene lake surrounded by sylvan hills. Upon arriving in Shillong, check into your hotel. Shillong overnight stay is recommended.

Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 km / 2 hrs.)

Drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place on earth, after an early breakfast. You will view the stunning waterfall known as Nohkalikai, which is one of Cherrapunji's most well-known attractions. You can also explore the Mawsmai caves in the surroundings of Cherrapunji.

Return to Shillong in the evening after visiting the Elephanta Falls on way. Shillong Peak and Elephanta Falls offer some breathtaking panoramic views for sightseeing. Reach the hotel afterwards and spend the night in Shillong.

Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati (100 km / 03 hrs.)

Prepare for a new day of exploration today. After breakfast, Visit Ward's Lake also known as Pollock Lake or Nan Polok, which is an artificial lake in Shillong and one of the most visited tourist destinations. Then proceed to Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays). Don Bosco Museum in Shillong is a major tourist spot providing a glimpse of the rich and multi-cultural lifestyles of the indigenous peoples of North East India.

Begin your drive to Guwahati. After checking in and completing any required formality procedures, go to the rooms provided, and freshen up yourselves. Evening tours of the Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra are optional and are recommended (Direct Payment by own).

You can Enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River, and return to Guwahati city with plenty of time to enjoy your evening, with this relaxing and unforgettable sunset cruise experience. Return to the hotel and spend the night in Guwahati after this fantastic tour.

Visit Kamakhya Temple following breakfast (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark).
