Known as Banaras previously, Varanasi is a historical city with much spiritual significance for the Hindus in India. Along the same lines, Kashi houses the Kashi Vishwanath temple which contains one of the 12 jyotirlingas. These cities are considered the oldest cities in India and beget their popularity due to the temples devoted to Lord Shiva. These pilgrimage sites are famed for their ancient ghats and worship of the inimitable river Ganges. In the vicinity, you will also find Prayagraj or Allahabad ensconced in the Northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. Here, you can also witness the Triveni Sangam, the meeting of the three holy rivers – the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati – to then flow together as one. Lord Ram, one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the seventh Avatar of Vishnu, was born here. A holy dip in the Saryu River is considered highly auspicious.
On day one, as you arrive at the quaint metropolis of Allahabad or Prayagraj, transfer from Airport/Railway Station to your hotel. Get some rest, and freshen up. Post that, you will be visiting the Triveni Sangam for a holy dip, after which you will see the fort, the Hanuman temple, and other nearby sites.

After breakfast, a road transfer to the ancient city of Ayodhya. You will also get to visit the Ram and Hanuman temples to pay your obeisance. After that, it's back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Have your breakfast in the hotel, and then set out for a drive to Varanasi. Here, you will check in at your hotel, freshen up, and proceed for a tour of the city. You can witness the stunning Ganga Aarti in the evening alongside a boat ride on the Ganges at Dasaswamedh Ghat (This part of the trip is optional).
