Blissful Andaman

The remote Andaman Islands are the ideal Indian getaway with their beautiful turquoise waters bordered by ancient jungle, superb diving, and sugar-white, sun-toasted beaches melting under flame-and-purple sunsets.

Port Blair, the Andaman Islands' capital, is linked to all the other islands by a network of ferries. From here, you can travel to other islands, including Havelock, Neil Island, Long Island, and Little Andaman, via ferry. Port Blair is the first place you'll visit on Andaman Island. It features several fascinating attractions like Corbyn's Cove Beach, Cellular Jail, Ross Island, and Samudrika Marine Museum.

You will find a pleasant mixture of South and Southeast Asian immigrants, as well as Negrito ethnic groups, whose presence still leaves anthropologists perplexed.

The isolated island is approximately 850 miles or 1370 km east of the Indian peninsula. It is just 124 miles or 200 km from Indonesia and about 186 miles or 300 km from Myanmar or Burma, both of which add to its allure.

Day 1

ARRIVE PORT BLAIR

We can assure you that your arrival at Port Blair will be enchanting. Our guide will take you to your hotel, where you can relax. Today, we will be covering the National Memorial or the Cellular Jail. In the evening you will enjoy the Light & Sound show at the same venue, which will display India’s struggle for Freedom in all its glory.

Cellular Jail / National Memorial The Cellular Jail played a significant role in India's quest for independence. Many supporters were held captive here. This British-built, three-story prison, which was built in 1906, has been designated a national memorial and is a crusade for anyone who is patriotically inclined.

At the time, some of the most terrible atrocities were committed on the prisoners, who were primarily Indian freedom fighters. The historic Cellular Jail's Sound and Light Show, which provides a dramatic experience of its deep relationship with the freedom fighters and their quest for independence, brings the day to a gentle finale.

PORT BLAIR - HAVELOCK ISLAND (Swaraj Dweep)

Have a refreshing breakfast and get ready to visit Havelock Island. Our rep will help you check out of the hotel at Port Blair.

The Journey to Havelock: Get to the Phoenix Bay Jetty, a government-run ferry that will carry you from Port Blair to Havelock. This is both the most established and least priced alternative for getting around the Andaman Islands.

The distance from Port Blair to Havelock is about 70 kilometres and should take us about 2.5 hours. At 6:20 AM and 2 PM each day, the jetty is open. Standing on the terrace and gazing out at the endless blue expanse will give you the most captivating experience as you sail across to Havelock Island.

Day 3

HAVELOCK ISLAND - PORT BLAIR

After breakfast, you will check out from the resort and proceed to Beach No. 7-Radhanagar Beach.Havelock Island: One of the biggest islands in Ritchie's Archipelago, east of Great Andaman in the Andaman Islands, is Swaraj Island, formerly known as Havelock Island. It is a part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territory of India's South Andaman Administrative District.

The stunning Havelock Island, the most visited of the Andaman Islands, is known for its world-class scuba diving and snorkelling. Boats with glass bottoms offer a comparable up-close encounter with marine creatures. While camping and jungle hikes are common landlubber hobbies, those who are more gently disposed can choose to retire to one of the many opulent resorts. Fresh coconut milk and succulent, recently caught fish, which dominate every meal, will help you recover.

Radhanagar Beach or Beach No. 7: It's a treat to see the dawn and sunset over Radhanagar Beach. Hours can be spent sitting on the beach, taking in the magnificence of the sky and the sea, eventually blending in the horizon. You can even participate in some scuba diving and other water sports at the beach if you are intrepid.

The sea cuisine served at the food stands on the beach is just mouth-watering. To top it all off, you can order some wonderful coconut drinks to go along with your meal.
