Hop on this tour with us as we travel towards Alibaug along the Konkan Coast to visit the Korlai and Revdanda forts. Enjoy two quick pitstops along the journey one to visit the Akshi Shilalekh which is among one of the first documented Marathi Shilalekh, the other being the Chaul Rameshwar Temple. Enjoy breathtaking views from the top of Korlai fort and grab great pics of Revdanda beach all while you travel in the comfort of an AC vehicle.
06.00am – Meet at the gate of Sanjay Gandhi National Park from where we begin our journey to Alibaug.
(Bus Route : Borivali Stn. West – Oberoi Mall – Andheri east Highway – Maitri park chembur – Panvel).
08.30am – Stop for breakfast to fuel up for the exciting day ahead.
09.30am – Visit to Akshi Shilalekh where our story teller narrates the history of one of the first documented Marathi Shilalekh.
11.00am – Arrive at Korlai village from where we begin our tour of the beautiful Korlai Fort. Stop at the various photostops and click mesmerizing photgraphs along the walls that over look the river and the sea. Marvel at the beauty of the cannons still left on the fort walls, all while our story teller narrates the history of the fort complete with the battle tactics used during the wars.
13.30pm – After an enjoyable tour we proceed for lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy Delicious veg /nonveg Thali lunch.
14.30pm – Proceed to Revdanda fort, know more about history of ancient port of Chaul and Medieval history of Konkan. Visit various places in fort and take beautiful photographs at the picturesque beach.
16.00pm – Visit to Chaul Rameshwar Temple for darshan of Lord Shiva.
16.30pm – Start return journey towards Mumbai.
17.00pm – Stop for a shopping break at Kokan Food Bazar and shop for local delicacies and snacks.
17.30pm – Finally we begin our journey back to Mumbai.
21.00pm – Arrived at Borivali (Reaching time may change, depend upon traffic).
