The first stop of the day is the City Palace. Jaipur is famous for its palaces, and like most other structures, this palace also reflects a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

This astonishing palace occupies almost one-seventh of the old city of Jaipur. The Palace also served as a residence for the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Although, you can take some time to even visit the local retail shops outside the palace and shop if it interests you.
