The Lake City - Udaipur

The semi-desert city of Udaipur is a land of exquisite palaces located amidst the beautiful view of Lake Pichola. Once a part of the Mewar reign of the Rajputs, this beautiful city is famed for its rich history and lakes. Explore the best this city has to offer in this short 2N tour.

Day 1

Your Udaipur tour starts with your arrival at the airport or railway station. A GoHopTrip representative will meet and assist you to your vehicle for your journey to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight stay at Udaipur

Meals : None

Wake up to a hearty meal and then embark on the sightseeing tour of the city. Visit City Palace, which is located on the bank of Lake Pichola and is one of the biggest royal complexes of Rajasthan. Then head towards Jagdish Temple. This magnificent 17th-century temple is located in the heart of the city and a magnificent example of Indo-Aryan architecture.

Afterwards proceed to Fateh Sagar Lake, which is an artificial lake that is named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar. Later, visit the Vintage Car Museum, which is an awesome place for car and automobile lovers. After the sightseeing tour of the city, proceed for an Evening Motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola at an additional cost. You can enjoy cruising on Lake Pichola while enjoying the mesmerizing sunset. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Have your breakfast proceed to Saheliyon ki badi then Visit Bagore Ki Haveli: Near the marvellous Pichola Lake, Bagore Ki Haveli was constructed in the 18th century under the initiative of Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime Minister of Mewar.

Shilpgram : At a distance of 3 Km from Udaipur, Shilpgram is a rural arts and crafts complex. It was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi in 1989 to spread knowledge about the rural arts and crafts of Rajasthan to the outer world. Later transfer to Udaipur Airport, with happy memories of this trip.
